We are seeking ambitious, self-motivated windplant technicians to operate and maintain our wind projects, located at our Altamont Pass shop-offices facility, located in Tracy, California. Minimum high school education required. Experience with electrical and/or mechanical maintenance is helpful.
Position responsibilities include:
> technical knowledge of wind turbines
> operation and maintenance of wind turbines
> mechanical and electrical trouble-shooting and repair
> repairing and/or replacing worn parts
> preventive maintenance
> climbing wind turbine towers
> working outdoors often
> computer skills helpful
> good documentation and writing skills helpful
